Garden of Hope at Stonybrook Southampton Hospital
Araiys Design has had the great honor to volunteer our efforts in revitalizing the Garden of Hope at the Southampton Hospital. The existing garden, located at the corner of Herrick and Old Town Roads had become overgrown and uninviting. Along with hospital staff and other community volunteers, we have re-imagined a brighter space that provides walking paths, seating areas, new lighting fixtures, a water feature, and new plantings. The garden is connected to the cancer wing of the hospital and is intended to provide a beautiful, peaceful space for patients, survivors, and members of the community to visit. It allows for individual contemplation and reflection as well as a space for families and friends to gather in an intimate natural setting.
