Situated on three acres in Bridgehampton, this project featured the renovation of an historic 19th century mansion and estate into a luxury hospitality hotel, spa, fitness center, restaurant, and event space.
Two new contemporary structures were constructed to host events and guest rooms. Our goal was to design exterior spaces that complement the historic mansion while integrating the new modern structures within the surrounding site context. Programming includes intimate garden spaces complementing the new guest rooms, a swimming pool and fitness area, site plantings, pathways, and open event spaces.
A grid of crab apple trees set within the main lawn recalls the agricultural history of the property and creates an attractive setting for events and gatherings.
