Mecox Bay Residence

When the owners purchased this 2.5-acre property overlooking Mecox Bay their dream was to convert the existing traditional design vernacular of the home and landscape into a modern, seaside retreat suited to accommodate the active lifestyle of their growing family.
Canoe Place Inn

Guided by the design concept of ‘a garden by the sea,’ the mission of the design team was to restore the historic six-acre Canoe Place Inn, transforming it into a versatile space that includes a wedding venue, boutique hotel, five cottages, restaurant, wellness center, outdoor swimming pool, and guest parking areas.

Suffolk, North Fork Residence
Inspired by the panoramic vista overlooking the Peconic Bay, our design approach was to integrate the home with outdoor spaces, creating a sanctuary where the family can relax, unwind, and connect with nature.

Shou Sugi Ban House
The site was designed as a progression of layers from public to private: the spa in front which is open to the general public, the core activity area in the center, and the overnight Spa Suites in back.
The Topping Rose House
Situated on three acres in Bridgehampton, this project featured the renovation of an historic 19th century mansion and estate into a luxury hospitality hotel, spa, fitness center, restaurant, and event space.
Cobb Isle
This property spans half an acre and is situated on the scenic shores of Mecox Bay. The concept behind the design was to create a seamless connection between the modern home and the dune ecology, making it feel like a natural extension of the surrounding landscape.
Garden of Hope
Araiys Design has had the great honor to volunteer our efforts in revitalizing the Garden of Hope at the Southampton Hospital. The existing garden, located at the corner of Herrick and Old Town Roads had become overgrown and uninviting. Along with hospital staff and other community volunteers, we have re-imagined a brighter space that provides walking paths, seating areas, new lighting fixtures, a water feature, and new plantings.
